Obituary of Delbert Ray Allison

Delbert Ray Allison April 28, 1933- February 28, 2018 Del Allison, age 84, of Hilton Head, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at home. Del was born in Offutt Lake, WA to Ray and Edith (Fraser) Allison. He was the oldest of four children: Donna, Judy (who both preceded in him death) and John who lives in Willow, AK. Del was an Army veteran (Korean War), fisherman, Alaskan pioneer, dog musher and real estate developer. He is survived by wife and best friend, Sheila Traficante; sons Bucky, Thomas (his wife Katie and their two children Lyndi and Teagan) and James; and daughters Alana, and Jana (her husband Tony and their children, Jason, Jarred and Alicia). A Celebration of Life will be held between 11 am and 1 pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at The Island Funeral Home, 4 Cardinal Road, HHI, SC 29926. Private burial will at the convenience of the family.
