Frank L. Conder, 66, of Hilton Head Island, SC passed away at home with his family beside him on Monday, December 18, 2017. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Nancy. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Leigh Ann Trebesh and Leslie Shaw and their spouses Clint and Kelly. His five granddaughters Ella Rae, Hayley Grace, Caroline, Abigail, and Sylvie were the light and joy of his life. He is also survived by his brother, Louie Conder III, a sister, Cindy Hunter, his stepmother Martha Conder as well as extended family members. He is preceded in death by his father L. W. “Skeek” Conder, his mother Nancy Webb Conder and his brother Mark P. Conder. He was born in Columbia, SC and grew up on Lake Murray. He attended Clemson University and remained a true Tiger fan for the rest of his life and everyone knew it. Upon moving to the island in 1980 Frank worked for many years as a real estate appraiser. His favorite life’s work was owning and operating Sea Horse Farms where “Cowboy Frank”, as many of you knew him, led trail rides on the beach for over 15 years. Most recently he acted as Broker in Charge of the Daufuskie Company specializing in commercial real estate. He was the first founding member of Hilton Head Island Community Church where he was actively involved leading various Bible studies and groups. Sharing the Gospel with those around him was one of his true passions. Although our family is greatly saddened by our loss, we rejoice that he is now in Heaven with his Lord Jesus who he loved so much. He will be remembered as a loving, generous, full of life man whose positive spirit impacted all who knew him. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 22 at Hilton Head Island Community Church immediately followed by a memorial service and inurnment at Christ Lutheran Church.
