Obituary of Kenneth C. Munroe

Kenneth C. Munroe Kenneth C. Munroe passed away on September 11th, 2018. The son of Kenneth and Albia Munroe, he grew up in North Kingstown, RI. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island, he embarked upon a 30-year career with IBM, most of which was spent in Atlanta, Georgia. Ken enjoyed summers spent in Narragansett, RI with family, and living on Hilton Head Island, where he loved to garden and golf. He leaves behind Joyce Munroe, his wife of 55 years, and his daughters Suzanne Taylor of Louisville, Kentucky, and Kristen Munroe, of Port Royal, SC. He is preceded in death by his son, Scott Munroe. He is survived by grandsons Matthew and Conor Taylor, of Louisville, KY, and his sister, Karen Erwin, of Dover, New Hampshire. Ken will be fondly remembered by all for his kind and gentle spirit, his love of life, and his abiding faith. A private family service was held.
