Obituary of Allan Roy Lesslauer

Allan Lesslauer of TidePointe, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina died Friday, August 3, 2018. He was born, October 12, 1926, in Perth Amboy, N.J. and was the son of the late Jack and Dorothy Lesslauer. He moved to Hilton Head Island in 1987 from Salem, NH. He resided in Mountainside, NJ, and Woodland, MN. Allan was a graduate of New York University College of Engineering in 1949 with a BEE Degree. He was employed by Honeywell Inc for 36 years beginning in the Commercial Division and was Branch Manager of the Westfield, NJ branch for HVAC. He then became Regional Director for Protection Services and moved to MPLS as National Field Director. He then transferred to Information Systems in MA as Director of Retail Systems when he retired. Allan is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Mark and Stephanie Lesslauer of Ridgewood, NJ and Kerry and Jane Lesslauer of Hopkinton, MA and their daughter Paige. He was predeceased by his wife Ethel and second wife June. Allan put family first and loved food, international travel and intellectual discussions. Services will be private.
