Obituary of Louise Stubbs Williams

Louise S. Williams, born January 1914 in Brooklyn, NY died on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. She was 104 years old. She was the oldest daughter of Horace and Laurette Stubbs. She was a birthright member of the Religious Society of Friends, a graduate of Brooklyn Friend’s School and Swarthmore College ’34. In 1938 she married Dr. Ned Williams. They are survived by four children and their spouses; Carol and Dan Jackson, Joyce and Chris Martin, Susan and Jim Noyes, and David and Angelika Williams. She had 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She and Ned belonged to Rolling Green Golf Club in PA, Sea Pines Country Club and were charter members of Bear Creek Golf Club on Hilton Head Island. She loved the game of golf and played well into her 90’s. Services will be private.
