Obituary of Patsy E. Massey

Patsy E Massey, 88, a resident of TidePointe, passed away at Bloom of Hilton Head on February 6, 2019.  Patsy had a downhill battle with dementia for 5 years.  She left behind a loving husband of 47 years, Henry Massey and their 5 children, Becky, Kathy, Mark, Matthew and David.

Patsy had a career with Prudential Insurance Co. starting as a clerk and retiring as Office Manager of the Gastonia, NC. Office.  She was much loved by her friends in Charlotte NC., and Hilton Head SC., where the family moved in 1976.

She was a beautiful lady inside and out and was known as the singing and dancing lady.  Patsy was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church.  She was elected Miss Congeniality by the Hilton Head Lions Club where she was a longtime active member. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church at 3pm.
