Liza and Doug,
So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I was just thinking about her the other day and wondering if she would be well enough to travel to Dayton in the fall for the big 50th anniversary celebration of the opening of UD Arena. I so enjoyed keeping up the correspondence with her after my dear mother Adele passed away. I wish one of us had made the trip to visit her in Hilton Head - it was talked about but never accomplished.
I often tell people how the Blackburns used to come to our house for dinner before the start of each basketball season. I have such great memories of your mom - a lovely Southern belle who was the driving force behind your dad.
Sending sympathy, prayers and blessings your way.
