Obituary of Georgianna Bisca

Georgianna Barbara Carisi Bisca was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 13, 1929 to Frederick Carisi and Theresa Lippert Carisi.

She passed away peacefully on January 20, 2021 in Okatie, SC. She worked for many years as an Elementary school teacher when living in New York. Georgianna was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family, pets, gardening, social gatherings with friends and her church, St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church of Savannah, GA.

She is survived by her children, Diana Crouch (Troy) and Timothy Bisca (Cheryll), and grandchildren, Tommy Bisca (Erin), Alyssa Crouch, Jenna Crouch, Brandon Crouch and David Bisca. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Richard Mitchell Bisca and son, Thomas John Bisca.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hilton Head Humane Association, Post Office Box 21790, Hilton Head Island, SC 29925.Georgianna’s family thanks the Benton House Staff for their kind care of her throughout her time there.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Six Oaks Cemetery in Sea Pines Plantation, Hilton Head Island.
