Jeanette Muhal, age 53 formerly of Brighton, MI passed away peacefully in Hilton Head, SC on March 13, 2021, following diagnosis of a hereditary blood disorder.  The beloved daughter, sister, niece and aunt, was born in Dearborn, MI to parents Richard and Jean Muhal. She was raised in Milford and Brighton, MI with her brother and sisters. Jeanette moved to Dallas, Texas in 1999, where she met and married her ex-husband Will Thompson, who preceded her in death in 2020. After graduating from Hartland High School and attending classes at Washtenaw Community College, Jeanette began working as a Mortgage Underwriter in the Banking industry. She worked in that industry for 19 years for companies such as Bank of America and Countrywide and was elevated to special claims underwriting. Jeanette loved her beloved sports teams of University of Michigan football, Detroit Lions and Detroit Red Wings, where she followed her teams closely and was an avid fan. She loved her dog Izzy and cooking.  Jeanette also loved being outdoors where she liked fishing, four wheeling and growing her beautiful vegetable garden in Dallas. We will miss her smile and infectious laugh. She is survived by her Uncle Robert (Maggi); brother Brian (Alex); her sisters Colleen (Mike Vitolo), Maureen, Maria and Suzette (Harold Nelson); six nieces and nephews Derek, Lukas, Haleigh, Hannah, Kyle and Sydney; and two grand nieces Aubrey and Autumn (Nikki). Due to the Covid pandemic, Jeanette will be cremated and a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a future date in conjunction with her father Richard.
