Obituary of Corrine S. Dorer

February 4, 1937 – July 30, 2021

Corrine S. Dorer of Hilton Head Island passed away peacefully at home on July 30^th, surrounded by family.

Corrine was born on February 4, 1937, in Bristol, CT to Nicholas and Lillian Sandino. She married her hero, Frederic E. Dorer, on October 1, 1961. Corrine and Rick raised their three children in Shaker Heights, OH. Corrine was active in the local theater community, both performing and teaching. She and Rick moved to Sea Pines in 1996 where she enjoyed playing tennis, volunteering at the Bargain Box and enjoying local music and theater performances.

Affectionately known by her beloved family as GC, she is survived by Rick, children Suzy (Tim) Buglewicz, John (Melissa) Dorer and Charles Dorer, and her grandchildren, Caroline, Katie, Tommy, Maya and Nicky.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bargain Box of Hilton Head.
