Obituary of Lucille Scotto
Lucille Scotto passed away on August 4, 2021 at 91 years old. She was a loving wife to
Salvatore Scotto. They met in fourth grade, were married in 1954, and were married for 67
years. Lucille grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and raised her family in Commack on Long
Island. Her Catholic faith was a central part of her life. Lucille was known for her love of the
Brooklyn Dodgers, a competitive game of cards, and her exceptional life-long friendships.
Lucille’s greatest joy was her family. She was blessed to share time with her children,
grandchildren, and great grandchildren during a beautiful family gathering celebrating birthdays,
missed Christmases, and weddings days before her passing.
Lucille is survived by her husband Salvatore Scotto, her three children; Angela Lacara (Robert),
Michael Scotto (Serena), and Anne Marie Hayden (Chris). Her grandchildren Christopher,
Melissa, Kelly, Emily, Katelyn, Timothy, and DeAnna as well as her great grandchildren
Jacksonn, Maddison, Beckham, and Mila.
The family is planning a memorial Mass for a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be
