Obituary of Andrew Larkin Wilson

Andrew Larkin Wilson, 29, died on Monday December 27^th, 2021. Growing up in Bethesda, MD, he graduated from Mater Dei School and Blue Ridge School outside Charlottesville, VA.  In 2015 he moved to Hilton Head Island, SC. Andrew was passionate about war history, politics and sports, especially lacrosse, baseball and soccer. Andrew’s war passion came from his grandfather, Captain Francis E. Wilson, USN Ret. Although young when he died, Andrew was deeply impacted by him and continued the Captain’s legacy by the use of his name. On November 10^th, 2021 Andrew and Kate Diaz, the love of his life, welcomed the birth of their son Jax Francis Wilson.  Never was Andrew so proud and happy as he was with his “little bear”. He was gentle, hands on and loving. There are no words to explain the outpouring of fierce love he had for his little family. He is survived by his parents, John and Susan, his new born son Jax and Kate and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins and his lifelong and closest friend, Alex Baker.  Andrew Larkin Wilson, an incomplete life, may you finally be at peace. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church in Hilton Head Island, SC on Friday the 21^st of January 2022 at 10am.
