Obituary of Theodore Drilling

Theodore “Ted” Drilling, of Hilton Head Plantation, passed away on February 21st at Hilton Head Hospital with his wife and children at his side.  He was 91.

Ted enjoyed a successful career as a commercial artist for several advertising agencies in Chicago before his retirement.  He loved skiing, fishing, and woodworking.

Ted is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Irmgard, his son Ted (Nicola) Drilling of Severna Park, Maryland, daughter Annette (Mark) Bouska of Dublin, Ohio, four grandchildren Mia, Hannah, Kurt, and Annika, and extensive family in Germany.

A celebration of life will be held on April 2nd at 11 AM at Christ Lutheran Church, 829 William Hilton Pkwy, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church on Hilton Head Island.
