Obituary of Maxine Kearney

Evie Maxine Kearney, 84, of Hilton Head Island passed away on July 19, 2022 in Beaufort, SC.

 Born in Raleigh, NC on November 12, 1937, she was the daughter of Owen F. and Belle G. Kearney.

Maxine proudly worked for the US Government in the Department of State (commonly called “The State Department”) for 30 years prior to retiring and moving to Hilton Head Island.

Serving are her brother, Owen P. Kearney and nephew, William Kyle Kearney, both of Greensboro, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her nephew Ryan Kearney.

At her request, there will be no services.
