Obituary of Linda Sue Wallin

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Linda Sue Wallin of Hilton Head Island, SC. She died peacefully on February 14, 2023. 

Linda was born on April 12, 1951, in Springfield, IL to her parents, Richard and Mary Ann Wallin. She graduated from Monmouth Regional High School in New Jersey and West Virginia University with a degree in Education. Linda had a successful career that spanned from teaching high school English to training and sales in the computer industry. She retired from corporate life early and pursued a fulfilling job as a Cabi fashion consultant. After spending over 20 years living in Georgia, Linda moved to Hilton Head Island in 2019. She enjoyed long walks along the beach and harbor. She embraced opportunities to meet new people and had a gift for quickly turning strangers into lifelong friends. 

Linda is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Phyllis Wallin of Narragansett, RI; her sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Steve Brewer of Johns Creek, GA; her nieces, Brittany, Courtney, Lauren, and Hannah; her nephew, Brenton, and great-nephew, Patrick; and many beloved cousins. 

Linda was passionate about her family and most dedicated to her role as “Auntie Linda”. She also treasured her numerous friends.  Linda will be missed immensely. A private Celebration of Life will take place on Hilton Head Island. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
