To know Laura was to love Laura. She was beautiful in both life and in death.  She had a great, dry sense of humor that kept you laughing. She had a kind heart and loved to help others.  She had a smile that would light up anyone’s day. She was an animal lover having had three beloved dogs: Elton, Brandy and Wolfy.

Laura graduated Henderson High School in Chamblee, Ga and received a degree in Marketing from Georgia State University. She lived in different parts of the United States as well as overseas in Germany and Poland.  She traveled to 19 different countries while living in Europe.

Laura loved many things in life. She loved God and studied the Bible every morning.  She loved her family. Laura never met a stranger and made friends easily.  She developed close lifelong friendships as she moved around.  She was an incredible cook and always made sure there was plenty of great food to eat when you were in her home.  She had a gift for hospitality and always let you know that you were welcome and special to her.  Laura loved to sew and quilt.  She made many special quilts and pillow cases for family but also quilted for the Quilts of Valor Foundation.  She loved bowling with her friends. Laura will be missed by all who knew her.
