Obituary of Marguerite C. Falco

Marguerite (Candela) Falco, 82, of Hilton Head, SC formerly of Bristol, RI and Warren, RI passed away on Friday, April 7,2023 in her home.

Born November 24, 1940, in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Candela and Margaret (Silvia) McKenna.  Marguerite was the sister of William McKenna, Jr., Verna Desilets, and Lana Swanson, all of Bristol, RI. She was formerly married to Herculano “Okie” Falco.

Marguerite is survived by children; Laurie Falco-Mulgrew of Bristol, RI, Susan Falco of Hilton Head, SC, and grandson, Patrick Ellis Mulgrew of Savannah, GA.

Marguerite was a 1958 graduate of Colt Memorial High School in Bristol, RI. She pursued a career at Raytheon early in her life, before becoming a small business owner at 10 State Street in Bristol. 

Marguerite then became a realtor, where she truly found her life’s passion, as evidenced by the innumerable clients who later became close friends and family. 

She retired and moved to Hilton Head Island, SC- where she lived until the time of her death.

A Celebration Mass of Marguerite’s life will be held at St Mary’s Church in Bristol, RI, on 4/21/23 at noon.
