Obituary of Carol Mullally-Druhot

Carol Mullally-Druhot passed away on May 5, 2023, on Hilton Head Island. Carol was born on July 16, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY, to parents, Howard and Adelaide Flanigan. She attended the Dominican Commercial High School in Jamaica, Long Island.

She retired from executive management in the area of maritime law. Her neighbors will miss the sound of her brass bell ringing from her balcony - as the yachts moor themselves in Shelter Cove!

After the death of her husband , Patrick Mullally, Carol volunteered at Saint Frances Thrift Shop and founded the organization WOW, (Widows and Widowers) to connect newly single members of the community.   It was during that time that her and Ted developed their relationship!

Beautiful, enterprising and resourceful, Carol raised her four children in beautiful surroundings in a lakehouse on Pines Lake in Wayne, N.J.

She is survived by her beloved second husband, Theodore Druhot; her son Patrick and wife Helen, her daughter Colleen and her husband Jon, and Twin sons, Matthew and Timothy and spouse Robert Maxwell. Carol was the beloved Nana to five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
 

A Funeral Mass for Carol will be celebrated on Friday, May 19, 2023, at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church at 10:00 am with visitation prior from 9:15-9:50am.

In lieu of flowers, please donate items to Saint Francis Thrift Shop on Hilton Head Island where she volunteered for many years.
