Obituary of Doris A. Smith

Doris A. Smith, a 40-year resident of Hilton Head Island, died peacefully on Hilton Head Island on April 4, 2024, at the age of 95.

She enjoyed her many years golfing and making new friends at Bear Creek Golf Club.  She also spent much of her free time biking the many paths in Hilton Head Plantation.  She was surrounded by friends and neighbors who were so very helpful and supportive during her final years.

Doris was married for 74 years to Roland W. Smith.  In addition to her beloved husband Roland, she is survived by her son Bruce and daughter-in-law Sheila McGee-Smith of Hanover, NH.  Doris was predeceased by her daughter Lee Ann.
