Anne Christine (Warth) Derepentigny, 74, a beloved resident of Hilton Head, South Carolina, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on April 4, 2024.

The daughter of the late Philip Roger and Agnes Schuster Warth, Anne was born and raised in New Jersey. Anne graduated with a Bachelors of Arts from Ohio University and was part of a large Catholic family, where she cultivated her deep faith and strong values.

Anne leaves behind her beloved daughter, Mary Agnes and two granddaughters, Isla Rose and Adalyn; sister, Eileen Doolan; three brothers, Philip Warth, Gregory Warth, Daniel Warth. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Derepentigny, sisters, Mary Jo Leslie, Peg Donovan and brother Charlie Warth.

Anne enjoyed a successful career in hotel and restaurant management in Portland, Maine, where her dedication and leadership shone brightly. Her passion for hospitality extended beyond her professional life as she generously welcomed others into her home and heart. Additionally, Anne shared her knowledge and love for her Catholic faith as a devoted religion teacher, positively impacting the lives of many students in the St. Francis by the Sea community.

However, Anne’s most cherished role was that of a dedicated mother to her daughter Mary and a loving Nana to her two granddaughters. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart and soul into creating cherished memories with them. Anne’s love knew no bounds, and she found immense fulfillment in watching her family thrive and grow.

Anne was known for her vibrant spirit, great sense of humor, and impeccable design style along with a love for dogs. She possessed a zest for life that was infectious, and her laughter could light up any room. Despite facing challenges, including a courageous 20 year battle with cancer, Anne remained resilient and tenacious, inspiring all who knew her with her strength and grace.

In her leisure time, Anne found solace by the ocean, which held a special place in her heart. She also had a passion for travel, particularly to Italy, where she delighted in exploring its rich culture and cuisine. Anne cherished her large extended family, including her siblings, nieces, and nephews, and valued the many fun memories they shared.

Anne Warth Derepentigny leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her beautiful spirit.
