Obituary of Felix Foree Baker

Felix Foree Baker Felix Foree Baker, 92, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, passed away on October 4, 2017. Felix was born on November 12, 1924, in Birmingham, Alabama to Katherine Hawkins Baker and Felix Foree Baker. He graduated from Auburn University and was a member of the men’s tennis team. On June 13, 1975 Felix married Judy, his wife of 43 years. He had a long and successful career in the medical equipment industry, working for Borg Warner and Hill-Rom, receiving many awards for his sales achievements. Felix was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife Judy Baker, his three children, Robert Berg of Key Largo, FL, Sandy Singer (Barry) of West Palm, FL, Timothy Berg (Dina) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, and his grandchildren Timmy Berg, Katie Berg, Tara Berg, and Grace Singer. One of Felix’s favorite places to visit was Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, where he loved to play tennis and cross-country ski with family and friends. He enjoyed helping others, and was a loyal volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Felix will be lovingly remembered by his family as a wonderful father, grandfather, husband, tennis player, and lover of chocolate.
