My sincerest condolences and prays for Lee's family. When I graduated from law school or so many years ago, Lee took me under his wing and helped me get started in the practice of law. For the nine plus years I worked with him he consistently helped to keep me afloat. He was most generous and I will never forget that.

We will so miss that wonderful, warm and often mischievous smile! What a wonderful man who truly lived his faith by always helping others in need. Both of you have always been so welcoming that everyone immediately feels like family. Love to you all.

Well, the word is spreading fast around Elkhart about the passing of Lee. Most people don't take the newspaper here any more but a friend sent me a text. We were just talking about Lee last week. We had no idea he'd moved to S.C.. He seemed like an institution here after all these years. I enjoyed years of shooting trap, skeet, and sporting clays with him. He was a social butterfly and knew so many people, was a friend to most, and didn't know a stranger. My Dad who is 94 now was his friend and fellow private pilot. Lee once flew dad in circles for hours over an area that once had a local Indian Tribe taking infra-red photos trying to find the village location. What a pair. I'd see Lee at the local Air Shows or in the City Court Building and he always had time to stop and visit. Once my Dad asked him to "fix" a minor traffic ticket I got when I was a kid. I found Lee in the court and he was extremely busy. I finally asked him about the ticket and he said just go before the Judge. Then he realized who my Dad was...."oh, you're Dick Miller's son! I never heard about the ticket again. Typical Lee Millinger!! My wife's Dad was an Elkhart Cop and when Lee realized who he was he said, "the problem with your Dad was he was so damned honest on the witness stand !! Couldn't he embellish things just a little for my case sometimes?" Hahahaha. I suppose he had his faults like any man and I really hope he knew Christ as his Lord. He was a real good guy and although we all must pass, he will be missed.
God Bless his family as they remember him and mourn his passing.

I am so sorry to hear about Lee. I miss and think about him often. He was a very good man. I remember working for him when it was all business in the office, but out side of the office he would joke and cut up so you would see a different side of him. He was a wonderful boss.
