As we face the pain of losing someone we love. Take comfort in the Bible. One day the last enemy death will be brought to nothing. (1 Cor. 15: 26) We can take comfort in the knowing that we will see our loved ones again, in the resurrection. (John 3:16) What a wonderful gift we have been given. Jesus said I am the resurrection, & the life. (John 11:25)

I have know Dave since 1983. Friends and I went to Orlando to Visit Dave. He greeted us like we were family. What a warm, funny, giving gentleman. We kept in touch for many years. Last time Tom and were at HHI I called him. but the number was no longer in service. I tried to find you 2 weeks ago. I'll never hear that Dave laugh again. Tell Lu and Marie, I said hi in haven. Love you and miss. Just to hear you call and say is the coast clear? One more time. RIP my friend.

We met Dave at Lake Murray. We new immediately that we had a new friend. Dave was so much fun and we have so many great memories from the lake, as well as the mountains and Hilton Head. I don’t think Dave ever met a stranger. He was so kind and generous and he new how to have fun. Although it’s been a while since we had seen Dave, we still thought of him often. He knew how to have fun!! He will certainly be missed!!
RIP Dave!!

I was deemed his “Punk” child many years ago. My first cat was named after him, KP - Kitty Paxton. We had many wonderful years in RoseHill plantation with my mom and my Nanny Marie. The egg sandwich incident will always bring me smiles and laughs. The frosted Christmas tree and the sneaking me out of school to go shopping. And of course the plane over our car on road trips. Love always- Punk

I was working for a fire protection company that was going downhill Dave Paxton was planning on merging his company with us and when he came to the job site I was nervous because of all his success but when I met him it was like meeting a relative you’d never met before. Mr.paxton saw something in me that he liked otherwise he never would’ve hired me Mr. Paxton was very good at seeing true potential and was my favorite boss to work for.
