Obituary of Susan Brooks Tarbona

Susan Brooks Tarbona, 72, of Bluffton died January 23, 2021.  She was born July 9, 1948 in Cortland, NY to Elizabeth and Letchworth Brooks.  Susan grew up in Syracuse, NY.

Susan moved to Hilton Head in 2001.  She worked at The Bluffton Sun for more than 8 years.  In her free time, she liked to golf and spend time at the beach.

Susan is survived by her son Joseph Tarbona and daughter-in-law Briseida and her grandchildren, Isabella and Joey; sister Marcia (Gordon) Marcy and brothers Jeff (Donna) Brooks and Roland (Lea Anne) Brooks.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 13 at 10:30 am at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church.
