I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Betty, the first time I got to spend a few weeks with her and Uncle Ray in North Carolina by myself and she let me get my toes painted (the palest pink you could barely see) which of course made me feel so special. And the many trips to CT. But the last time I saw her was at my moms funeral. We were at the cemetery having the last prayers before burial. I was sitting in a chair by the casket and was quietly weeping. Aunt Betty was behind me and she gently stroked my face putting aside her own grief to comfort me. She stayed with me the whole time and you’ll never know how much I needed that. That is the essence of her to me. Love. Rest In Peace Aunt Betty
