I was just thinking about Carl today and decided to do a search on his name and ran across this. My deepest condolences to his family. I worked with him at FCPS 1982-1987, where he mentored me into becoming the IT professional I have become today. I really own it all to Carl. Carl's band even played at my wedding!

Carl taught me to use computers when I worked in FCPS. I was still using an electric typewriter for memos and other reports. He started my love of computers, teaching me to enter personal and sick leave for my co-workers. That was the beginning of my rise in positions through 43 years at FCPS. All the way to the Student Information Office at Wilton Woods Center. I have always and will continue to give Carl credit for my wonderful retirement. RIP Carl.
