Obituary of Josh Rajkovich

On June 22, 2023 Joshua Erick Rajkovich passed away. The world lost a loyal and funny friend, a loving son, a proud brother, and father. Josh was born on October 5, 1976, in Sewickley, PA to his parents Karen and Larry Rajkovich.

Josh was an athletic child, loving to play soccer, basketball and skateboard. Josh picked up golf in his adulthood but the one constant throughout his life was fishing-this is an area he excelled at. Josh went to Hilton Head High School. He started working in Food and Beverage at the age of 15. This is another area he excelled at by serving others beside his friend Brian at Catch 22. Josh later grew in his culinary skills to show his family love through cooking. Josh was a lifelong Steelers fan and loved connecting with his Pittsburgh family over games.

Josh was predeceased by his father Lawrence Joseph Rajkovich who died in 1983. He was also predeceased by his grandmas Elva Davison in 2010 and Zora Rajkovich in 2001 both of whom he loved dearly. 

Josh is survived by his mother Karen Davison, his brother Brian Rajkovich and sister-in-law Shannon Saturday Rajkovich, his sister Lesley Mathis and brother-in-law Ryan Mathis and his son Brayden Rajkovich.

The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, June 30 at 1pm with visitation starting at noon located at The Island Funeral Home, 4 Cardinal Road, Hilton Head Island.
