Obituary of Judy Ann Wright

Judy Ann Wright, 63, of Hilton Head Island passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at her home.  Judy was born on June 10, 1960, to Vyna and the late John Russell Mumford in Brunswick, Georgia.  She was the loving wife of Tim Wright for 26 years.  Judy graduated from May River High School and was an accountant for Coastal Surveying Company where she met her husband Tim. 

Judy was known for her generosity and love for her family.  She loved to cook, travel, and especially loved traveling when she was able to drive her motorhome.  She was a very strong-willed and independent woman unlike any other, but had a gentle, loving side especially for her boykin spaniel, June Bug.   

In addition to her husband and mother, Judy is survived by her son Charles Pagnini, stepson Dallas Wright and his wife Alexandria; grandchildren, Bailey and Kelsey Pagnini; great-grandson, Samuel Sikes; and one sister, Glynda White.. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at the Island Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow.  Interment will be in Bluffton Cemetery.  Donations may be made to the Bluffton Cemetery Preservation Society, PO Box 282, Bluffton, SC 29910.
