Obituary of Manuel A. Peterson, Jr.

Manuel A. "Al" Peterson, Jr.  died Sunday, October 15th, 2023. Al was born February 16th, 1935, to Margaret Hughes and Manuel A Peterson Sr. Al was a Hall of Fame Track star at Villanova University and served in the United State Marine Corps. He received his masters degree at Seton Hall University, where he was also a professor. He was Senior Vice President of Finance for Lorillard Tobacco Company Corp. until his retirement 26 years ago.

Al was predeceased by his son Alfred and sister Margaret. He is survived by his children Kathryn Hull, Barbara Mazza, and David Peterson. Al is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and brother, Thomas, who all loved him dearly.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Assumption Church, Wood-Ridge, NJ on Friday, November 3rd at 11:30 am.
