Obituary of Dorisan Henry

Dorisan Henry, 93, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Milford, Massachusetts passed away October 23, 2023, at her Residence. She was born on October 22, 1930, in Bellingham, Massachusetts to Gordon Seviour and Alice (Kelleher) Seviour.

Dorisan graduated from Medway High School. One of her favorite things to do was to travel extensively. She made beautiful memories every place she visited. Along with traveling, Dorisan enjoyed knitting. She would create stunning designer sweaters that kept her and her daughter, Jackie, warm. Dorisan did so many great things and she touched many people’s hearts.

Dorisan spent many years working at FACO Inc. as an engineer and subsequently retired in 1992.

Dorisan is survived by her daughter; Jacquelyn A. Henry, son; Donald Henry, grandson; Michael McCarthy, great-grandson; Owen McCarthy, great-granddaughters; Mia McCarthy and Clementine McCarthy; great-great-grandson; Oscar McCarthy and many nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private interment at a later date.
