Obituary of Stephen A. Schramm

Stephen Schramm, 61, of Ridgeland, South Carolina passed away on November 1^st, 2023. Stephen was the beloved son of Tony and Ellie Schramm of Hilton Head, South Carolina and the loving brother to Karen D'Alba of Bluffton, South Carolina. He also was an uncle to Nicole and Christopher D'Alba, and Kristina and Peter Nodelman. Stephen was a great uncle to Dominick, Gianna, and Peter Nodelman, Jr and Noelle Galuska all of Bluffton, South Carolina.
 

Stephen grew up in Larchmont, New York and was a graduate of Mamaroneck High School, Mamaroneck, New York. Stephen worked for A&M Schramm Construction Company and enjoyed volunteering for the Larchmont Fire Department. Mr. Schramm relocated to South Carolina in 1999 where he worked for Malphrus Construction Company.
Throughout his life, Stephen found pleasure in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his friends. Stephen was also very active in his local church- St. Anthonys Catholic Church, of Ridgeland, South Carolina. His enthusiasm for these activities was infectious, and he could bring up the spirit in any room.

A Funeral Mass will be held on November 17th at 10am at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church in Hilton Head, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Stephen's memory to be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or Lovable Paws Rescue, 2144 Grays Highway, Ridgeland, South Carolina 29936, which is a tribute to his love of animals.
