Obituary of Grace Marie Annunziata

Grace Annunziata, a woman whose heart overflowed with love, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2024. Her departure leaves a void that is immeasurable, as Grace was not only a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother but also a beacon of kindness to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Grace's unwavering faith in Jesus defined her life. She lived by the principles of love, compassion, and forgiveness, radiating a warmth that touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her commitment to her faith was not just a belief but a guiding light that shaped her actions and interactions as a Eucharistic Minister for St. Francis by the Sea.

She is survived by her loving husband, Guy Annunziata and their faithful dog Gizmo, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Grace leaves behind a legacy of family, with four children—Guy (Tara), Donna (Tim), Kim (Greg), Charlie (Sandy)—and their families. Her nine grandchildren, Grace, Nicolette (Andy), Francesca, Guy, Charlie, Chad, Emma, Tatum, and Cleo were the joy of her life. The newest addition to the family, her great-grandchild McClain, brought an additional layer of happiness and fulfillment to her later years.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at The Island Funeral Home on Sunday, February 4 from 3 to 5. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, February 5, at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church in Hilton Head—a place that held special significance in Grace's heart.
