Clark and Amy: Our sincerest condolences on Tyler's passing. We recently had contact with him regarding assisting his nephew with the translation of some German family documents. It was nice to hear from him again. If there is one character trait of Tyler's that we remember most, it is his caring and willingness to be of help. As you know, there were many times that Liz had him look after our dogs, often times much to his chagrin, and when he stepped in to assist us with projects around our house. Of particular note is the occasion when she had Tyler take her car to the E check station and our little Elsa, who was a puppy, crawled under the driver's seat and was wailing as Tyler tried to get her out so the inspector could do his job. Tyler and Elsa always had a special relationship. Also, when, during Hurricane Sandy, a tree fell into the back of our house and Tyler came over in the middle of the night and in the driving rain to help us board up windows and put down a tarp. Having Tyler there was as much of a comfort as it was supportive. Our love and prayers are with you.
